Welcome to Naples! Naples has been rated one of the best foodie-towns in North America. Here are some great places to get you started.
Araya - People come from all over the area to eat at Araya – I recently had someone from California tell me that Araya has the best sushi in the state of Florida. My favorite dish here happens to be the blue crab fried rice. They also have a really good avocado salad and their Pad Thai is amazing.
2650 Immokalee Road, Naples, FL 34110 Araya Sushi Asian Grill
Tacos & Tequila Cantina - This popular restaurant started in East Naples on Davis Blvd and opened a second location in the Pavilion in North Naples near Pelican Bay. If you love tacos and margaritas, this is your place. There are so many great tacos on this menu – but there’s just something about Mom’s Tacos. Mmmmmm……
8965 Tamiami Trail N, Naples, FL 34108 Tacos and Tequila Cantina
4834 Davis Blvd, Naples, FL 34112 – Original Location
Turtle Club - There aren’t a lot of places to eat directly on the beach in Naples. The Turtle Club is one and it’s popular for lunch and dinner. Reservations are a must and it’s a bit pricey – this is a special occasion dinner place for sure. But it’s worth every penny – their food is delicious.
9225 Gulf Shore Drive, Naples, FL 341o8 Turtle Club Vanderbilt Beach
The Bay House - The Bay House has been a family favorite since we moved here 20 years ago. The big fireplace inside and the fact that they are happy to set a table for our extended family of 25 people is always comforting. The amazing food also helps. In the recent past they added patio dining around a giant fire pit, all strung with pretty white lights. The effect is magic – when you eat on their patio you feel like you are in heaven. Be sure to go on a night when they are grilling oysters. So so good. The Claw Bar offers a bit of a more casual menu – available inside only, but they have one of the best play lists in Naples and really cool atmosphere.

Goldie’s Restaurant - This no-frills diner in the industrial park is a locals’ favorite for breakfast and lunch. This popular restaurant usually has a waiting list but turns their tables over quickly. Good food at great prices.
5400 Taylor Rd, Naples, FL 34109 Goldies Restaurant
Whiskey Park – This new restaurant had a quiet opening to many accolades. They are known for their wings, ribs, fried shrimp and jambalaya. While the name and decor point to an old-west saloon, this is more of a restaurant than a bar.
3380 Mercantile Ave, Naples, FL 34104 Whiskey Park
Jimmy P’s Charred – Jimmy P’s has long been known as one of the best butcher shops in Naples. They recently opened a restaurant next to their original shop. Don’t let their strip mall location fool you – many people in Naples consider this their favorite special occasion place and the prices match. Their steaks are top notch and they have some of the best burgers in Naples.

The Rooster Food + drink – This is a very special collaboration between two Naples-famous chefs – Lisa Resch of Carolina Catering and Bryan Sutton formerly of the Tropical Reef and Hotel Escalante in Old Naples. This is a breakfast and lunch extravaganza of homemade down home comfort food with a Southern twist. Mmmmm……..
Cosmos Pizza - This is our favorite pizza in coastal Naples – a true thin crust New York style pizza that the kids ask for over and over. They have lots of salads which makes me happy, and at lunch you can get pizza by the slice. Great casual neighborhood joint.

Brooks Gourmet Burgers - this establishment was in Naples LONG before we moved here 20 years ago, although with a different name and ownership. It’s a very casual restaurant with some of the best burgers in the USA. This family owned restaurant sources their beef carefully and it shows – they are delicious. Also great shakes, fries, and even an option for grapes instead of fries if that’s how you roll. This is another family favorite with our kiddos. They have second location in the Pavilion in North Naples near Pelican Bay.
330 9th Street N, Naples, FL 34102 - Brooks Gourmet Burgers
7th Ave Social - This is one of my all time favorite restaurants in Naples. It’s funky, fresh and doesn’t feel at all like Naples – it reminds me of Asheville or Austin. Very cool place. Semi-casual with a really reasonable small bites menu. It’s almost impossible to get into during Season or during happy hour but we spend as much time here as we can during the summer. My favorites are the yucca fries, fish hand tacos and amazing burgers.
849 7th Ave S, Naples, FL 34102 - 7th Ave Social
Aldo’s Italian Restaurant and Bar - While it’s true that Aldo’s has a full menu of amazing Italian food – they also have hands-down the best pizza in Naples. Quailty ingredients and cheese make all of the difference. We love this place. It doesn’t hurt that the owners are some of the kindest, most giving people in Naples, Florida. Insiders secret – they also own Tacos & Tequila in the same shopping center.
4820 Davis Blvd, Naples, FL 34112 – Aldo’s Italian Restaurant & Bar
21 Spices - Indian food is hard to come by in Naples. There’s a great place in North Naples called Passage to India that has been in business for almost 20 years. Great Indian food. And now the residents of East Naples are lucky enough to have their own amazing Indian restaurant. Opened and run by Chef Asif, a native Indian, who has been a chef for nearly 20 years and recently was the executive chef at the Marco Island Hilton. The restaurant has gotten rave reviews and is one of the most popular restaurants on the East Trail.
4270 Tamiami Trail East, Naples, FL 34112 – 21 Spices by Chef Asif
Greek Gourmet – I love Greek food and this restaurant does not disappoint. It used to be in Old Naples and moved a while back to Airport Road just south of Davis. Still completely worth the trip. Greek salads and gyros – what more could you ask for?
2196 Airport Pulling Road, Naples, FL 34112 - Greek Gourmet
I Burnt Mine BBQ – Funny name, awesome BBQ is the slogan of this new BBQ restaurant on the East Trail. Our Facebook foodies group is going crazy over this place – the reviews are raves. Homemade corn bread, burnt ends, and ribs to die for. May go there now…
3802 Tamiami Trail E, Naples, FL 34112 - I Burnt Mine
Doc’s Beach House - There aren’t many places in Naples/Bonita where you can eat on the beach. In your bathing suit / beach clothes. Is Doc’s a dive sports bar? Yes. Do they have some of the best pizza and wings in the entire world? We particularly love the Jamaican jerk chicken wings. My kids dream about them in their sleep. DISCLAIMER – they only take cash – don’t leave home without it.
27908 Hickory Blvd, Bonita Springs, FL 34134 - Doc’s Beach House
Wyld’s Cafe - So you’ve eaten all the pizza you can stand and you’re ready for a fine dining establishment. Don’t let the strip center location fool you – Wyld’s consistently ranks in the fine dining category. People rave about their food – my favorite here are the Seared Scallops but the entire menu is just beautiful. DISCLAIMER – Wyld’s is closed Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.
4271 Bonita Beach Rd, Bonita Springs, FL 34134 – Wyld’s Cafe
